In Southwest Portugal, halfway between Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes, Três Marias is a country guesthouse integrated in an Alentejo small property, where the large plains merge with the hills of the Serra do Cercal, in a scenario reminiscent of African landscapes – even to those who have never been in Africa. Here the days are tinted with golden light and the nights are wrapped by an incredible starry sky.
Distributed within two complementary buildings, separated by fields where some donkeys, sheep and a friendly ostrich are grazing, there are fifteen rooms in neutral tones, inviting you for some moments of pure relax in their private porches. While the colourful breakfasts do not leave anyone indifferent, also the dinners have created a reputation, not only for the honest cuisine and comfort food, but also for the friendly atmosphere around the table and the nice honesty bar.
Rural Guesthouse. Simplicity and spontaneous star gazing. No TV, fast internet, nor a paved road til the door.
